Velez Big Night Helps Panthers Take Down Gavilan

The Hartnell Men's Basketball team took on Gavilan on Wednesday February 5th and defended their home court with a 76-70 victory. Both teams went into the half all tied up at 37-37. The short handed Panthers who had only six players suit up played with energy all night long. Offensively Miguel Velez came off the bench and had a monster night with a season high 21 points and grabbing 17 rebounds. Daniel Bost added 16 points with three assists. Cisco Narewski chipped in with 16 points, six rebounds and four assists.
The Panthers (5-18, 1-7) will next travel to play West Valley on Friday February 7th.
