West Hills Lemoore suffers 78-71 loss to Allan Hancock

Sophomore Mack Tarver Jr. poured in 28 points to lead West Hills College Lemoore in a 78-71 loss to visiting Allan Hancock College on Friday at Golden Eagle Arena.

The loss evened up the Golden Eagles' record at 4-4 this season.

WHCL held a slim one-point lead (39-38) at halftime but was outscored 40-32 by the Bulldogs over the final 20 minutes to take the loss.

Tarver Jr. continued his impressive season. He nailed 6 three-pointers, part of an 11-for-18 shooting performance and finished just shy of his 29-point season-high.

Camron Wilson posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Milton Barnett and DaMari Tate nearly matched the feat. Burnett totaled 12 points and 9 assists while Tate had 8 points and 10 rebounds.

West Hills returns to action on Thursday (Dec. 9) when it will host Cuesta College in a 6 p.m. non-conference game.
