The men's basketball team faced a tough challenge last Friday night, falling to the No. 5-ranked East Los Angeles College Huskies, 107-68.
Despite the loss, the Vikings saw standout individual performances, with Lawrence Brown leading the way, scoring 15 points, along with four assists and two steals. Kason White contributed 14 points and grabbed five rebounds, while Kane Young added eight points and three assists to help the Vikings maintain their composure on the court.
"I felt like we played really tough during the first half," Young said. "But they took over in the second half, and we couldn't keep up."
"They're a good team," added Director of Basketball Operations and Head Coach Barry Barnes.
The Vikings will look to bounce back on Wednesday, January 8, when they take on Los Angeles City College at 5 p.m.
