Vikings Show Grit in Hard-Fought Matchup Against Citrus College

The Long Beach City College Vikings battled hard but ultimately fell to the Citrus College Owls, 102-71, on Friday night in the Hall of Champions. Despite the loss, the Vikings showed resilience and determination throughout the game.

Kason White led the team with 14 points, while Lawrence Brown and Coby Seery each contributed 12 points. Kelly Thornton was a force on the boards, grabbing a team-high seven rebounds to keep the Vikings competitive.

The Vikings faced some challenges, including foul trouble, but they didn't back down. They outpaced the Citrus in steals, showcasing their defense. Despite turning the ball over less, the Citrus' offense was tough to overcome.
