Top Five Teams Remain Unchanged; East LA Surges in this Week’s Poll
East LA propelled by a five-game win streak

The top five teams — San Francisco, Fullerton, Las Positas, West Valley and Citrus — remained unchanged in this week’s CCCMBCA Poll. However, after that, there was a lot of movement, some significant.
Three teams — Skyline, Redwoods and Riverside, which opens Orange Empire Conference play today at Orange Coast, fell 7, 8, 9 positions, respectively. Meanwhile, Mt. San Antonio was up five spots to No. 6 this week; Cosumnes River, behind a five-game win streak, also climbed five slots in the poll. But East Los Angeles was this week’s biggest winner as the Huskies jumped seven slots after going 4-0 since the last CCCMBCA poll. East Los Angeles, which is riding a five-game win streak, beat Citrus, San Bernardino Valley and Riverside during their winning streak.
West Los Angeles, unranked in the last poll, but a No. 12 south ranked team in the preseason poll, is back in the ranking at No. 30 after winning its Wild West Shootout; scoring an upset of San Diego City; and the losing by just 11 points to No. 2 Fullerton.
